Rotary Club Of Sunderland

Rotary Clubs throughout the country are planting millions of purple crocus bulbs  in a day of healthy fun, community based, environmentally friendly way to plant in everyones mind, the opportunity of being part of a historic worldwide campaign to eradicate Polio across the world by engaging thousands of volunteers to join in the Big Bulb Plant.   

The Rotary Club of Sunderland  liaised with the Parks Dept and Broadway School for children from the school to plant 4000 bulbs in the green  on Grindon Broadway, adjacent to the shopping centre.
